U.S. Serial Set - Additional Information and Research Strategies

ProQuest® Congressional provides access to the Serial Set through the Advanced Search Form (Congressional Publications) and the Search By Number Form (Congressional Publications).

The ProQuest Congressional basic subscription includes abstracting and indexing, with links to most full text from 1995 forward, for House and Senate documents from 1970-present and abstracts and indexing, with links to most full text from 1991-forward. Access is provided through the House & Senate Reports publication types on the Advanced Search form.

ProQuest Congressional also makes available annotated indexing for Serial Set publications issued from 1789-1969 through the optional congressional indexes historical module. Access is provided on the Advanced Search form through the House & Senate Documents and the House & Senate Reports publication types, as well as through the Serial Set option. Serial Set materials that are not classified as reports or documents are accessible only through the Serial Set option.

ProQuest Congressional also makes available annotated indexing and searchable PDFs for Serial Set publications issued from 1789-present through the five separate optional modules of the U.S. Serial Set Digital Collection. Access is provided on the Advanced Search form through the House & Senate Documents and the House & Senate Reports publication types, as well as through the Serial Set option. Serial Set materials that are not classified as reports or documents are accessible only through the Serial Set option. Only subscribers with entitlement to the U.S. Serial Set Digital Collection will be able to access enhanced Serial Set search options.
