Member Records Search Form

Use the Member Records Search form to find a variety of information related to current Members of Congress, including bill sponsorship and voting record.

Value	Description
Enter Member name	Enter the first and/or last names of the person you want to find. Tip: If you do not know the name of a member, click the Look up a Member link, locate the individual's name in the resulting pop-up window, then click the name to load it into the search form.
Seach within	You must specify which the type of information you want to retrieve. Select one of the following: Bill Sponsored Select this item to retrieve any bills that have been introduced by the member (whether as sole sponsor or co-sponsor). You can choose to restrict your search to a specific Congress. Campaign Contributors Select this item to retrieve finance reports that list all contributors to a member's campaign efforts. Contributor lists include those for both individuals and PACs. You can choose to restrict your search to an election cycle, individual contributor name, and/or PAC name. Campaign Finance Reports Select this item to retrieve a member's final campaign contribution report for an election cycle. You can choose to restrict your search to an election cycle or retrieve reports for all cycles. Financial Disclosures Select this item to retrieve a member's official financial disclosure statement for any particular year. Members of Congress are required to file an annual disclosure form outlining their financial history. These financial disclosures provide information regarding earned income, honoria income, assets, gifts, travel costs paid for by outside interests, liabilities, transactions, and positions or partnerships with outside organizations. You can choose to restrict to a single year or retrieve all reports on record. Floor Statements Select this item to retrieve comments or procedural statements made by the member from the floor of the House or Senate. Results are taken from the Daily Congressional Record. You can choose to restrict your search to a specific Congress. Floor Votes Select this item to view how a member voted on a bill from the current Congress or past Congresses. You can search for a bill on its number or on a keyword (e.g., homeland). You may also restrict your search to a specific Congress. Note: When this item is selected, member names cannot be entered in the member name boxes. To find out how a member voted, search by keyword or bill number, retrieve the vote report in which you are interested by doing a keyword search, and then locate the name of the member you are looking for within the report. Personal Profiles Select this item to view member profile reports, both past and current, for a specific member. These reports contain information such as party affiliation, swearing-in date, gender, religion, race, occupation, education, committee assignments, and a brief biography. You can choose to restrict your search to a specific Congress.
